Conveyance, Langham to Massey for buildings, January 26, 1831.

A conveyance, or deed of property, for the "premises known as Chippeway Point" from Elias T. Langham to Louis Massey, signed by Langham and witnessed by Lieutenant Thomas B. W. Stockton of the 1st U.S. Infantry. Langham was a subagent serving under Lawrence Taliaferro, United States Indian agent from 1820 to 1839 at the St. Peters Agency near Fort Snelling, Minnesota. The document notes that the sale was with the approval of Fort Snelling's commanding officers.
